On March 19, 2014 a meeting of the PAC was finally held. A large number of groups had been invited but only five people attended, representing the Poets’ Pathway, the Greenspace Alliance and Heritage Ottawa. Not much was learned, but repeated assurances were given that there were no plans to sell any land.

The following week the NCC held public consultations about the NCC’s Urban Lands Master Plan, combined with policies for the Parkways:

March 25, 2014 at the former Museum of Civilization.

March 26, 2014 at the War Museum.

5:30-6:30: Open House
6:30-7:00: Presentation
7:00-9:00: Questions, Workshops, Plenary Session

About 100 people attended the public meetings.
An online questionnaire, available from March 17 to April 6, 2014, received 600 responses.

Also in late March 2014, we received another draft and were asked to comment on it by April 6. There was no time for broad consultation or deliberation within the Alliance, but Erwin managed to get some comments in.
