Chalk River radioactive waste disposal facility

At our May 2017 monthly meeting, Ole Hendrickson, on behalf of Concerned Citizens of Renfrew County and Area, presented slides on Radioactive Wastes at Chalk River Laboratories. Goulbourn Wetlands Complex

At the instigation of environmentalists, in 2003 the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources evaluated the Goulbourn wetlands and found them to qualify as a Provincially Significant Wetland.
