A brief general meeting was held immediately after the Annual General Meeting.

Mayoralty Debate

Expenses discussed but final accounting to wait until Mike Rosen returns.

No motion.

 
Southern Corridor — West

NCC deal gave land to City of Nepean to build storm sewers. City of Nepean agreed to change land use from institutional to industrial.

Discussed possibility of a letter to John Manley.

All: To be revisited at next general meeting.
South March Highlands

Region bought 566 acres.

Decision made to send letter of thanks, together with GACC mandate and Year in Review, to Bob Chiarelli and councilors-elect. Discussed whether separate letters required to new and old councils or whether single letter would suffice.

Erwin: First draft a single letter to new and old councils and distribute it for review.
Run for Greenspace (June 10, 2001)

Requires two organizers.

All: Consider volunteering.
Sierra Club 2nd Workshop on Urban Sprawl (November 30, 2000)

Work to be continued. Everyone is encouraged to attend. Urban sprawl is a priority of the international Sierra Club.

Post-meeting note: Date of this meeting changed from Nov 23 to Nov 30, 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., Billings Room, RMOC.
