Rain Community Solutions has developed a toolkit describing 16 actions that cities and communities can undertake to reduce runoff. Examples of what’s being done in other cities are provided in every case. On a Scorecard one can enter data on your own community.
While still a work in progress (this is the second edition of the Toolkit and the first of the Scorecard — help in benchmarking and feedback is invited), these tools will increase awareness and could help setting goals to achieve the vision of this group: “…manage rain where it falls to save money, reduce flood risk, and protect our water. ”
Go here for more information and to download the Toolkit.
