The propositions:

1. Support for a strong site alteration by-law, with emphasis on “strong.”
2. Renewed commitment to an annual allocation towards an environmental lands acquisition fund.
3. Standing firm in support of the prohibition against future country lot subdivisions.
4. The City’s Advisory Committees should be genuine bridges between the public and Council.

Craig MacAulay: “I enthusiastically support all four Greenspace Alliance propositions. Keep up the great work!”

Guy Annable:

#3: “no i would not support this”

#4: “As a person who sat on the Business Advisory committee for 3 years with no work plan, not one councilor visiting our meetings and no feedback being taken from any of our reports, I endorsed Jim Watsons’ dissolving of the BAC in 2010 along with Other City of Ottawa Committees as they accomplish little if nothing as the reports we submitted were not reviewed or even considered by Council. They are simply political Window dressing that Bob Chiarelli set up and i am glad Staff no longer wastes Expensive valuable time with no result on this sad replacement for direct Public input.”

The other two candidates did not respond.
