1. Adoption of the agenda
As quorum was not achieved, it was agreed that no GA business could be transacted but that information would be shared on the agenda items.

As agreed at the last meeting, a review at a very detailed level was conducted to detect errors or anomalies in draft 3 of the ZBL that convert open space and other greenspace adjacent zones to development reserve or outright development. Two such reclassifications that would result in greenspace loss were already known, affecting the Poets’ Pathway. The results of this analysis were summarized in the GA’s submission to City staff.
Several other issues require further clarification and staff have indicated an openness to address these before finalizing the bylaw. The final draft of the new ZBL will be brought before Committee on December 17 2025.

Arrangements were finalized for distributing a map and information leaflet about the Poets’ Pathway at the October 26 concert of the Ottawa Choral Society on the theme of Canadian Poets. The Chair has reached out to the VP of Planning at the NCC with a request to meet regarding its development plans for lands in the Southern Corridor and McCarthy woods/meadow through which the PP currently goes.
