The coalition formed to preserve key sections of the Poets’ Pathway continues to be very active with the Hunt Club and Riverside Park community associations and OSEAN (Ottawa South Environmental Action Network) playing key leadership roles. The zoning of these threatened greenspaces is currently under appeal by the NCC at the Ontario Land Tribunal. The GA intends to seek participant status, along with other parties in defense of the McCarthy Woods corridor and the Woodroffe-Merivale corridor.
