NCC Public Advisory Group on Eastern Bridge project

New updated content: 2025-08-13 11:50:46 The NCC has established an Environmental Public Advisory Group for the proposed Eastern Bridge across the Ottawa River. The GA was invited to sit on the advisory panel. The chair of the GA attended the first meeting of the group on July 10, where an informative and question and answer period filled the 90 minutes allocated. The next meeting is planned for September.

Sapling clone of centennial elm planted

New updated content: 2025-02-28 11:27:47 We have received a response to our enquiry on the status of the plan to clone scions from the Parliamentary Elm that was removed in 2019 for replanting on Parliament Hill at a future date.
