BACKGROUNDER Illegal Water Taking at Leitrim and elsewhere On October 26, 2007, alerted by observations made by members of the community, the Ministry of the Environment issued a Provincial Officer’s Order to Findlay Creek Properties Ltd., Taggart Construction and 1374537 Ontario Ltd. as provided for in section 34.1 of the Ontario Water Resources Act.
